A great set is half application, half aftercare. These are the same instructions Vivian gives every client at Envi Lashes in Temecula — follow them and most sets stay full right up to the 2–3 week fill.

The first 24 hours

The adhesive cures for a full day after your appointment. Keep your lashes completely dry — no showers on the face, no steam, no sweaty workouts, no crying at the movies. Skip the swimming pool, sauna and hot yoga until tomorrow.

Cleanse every day

Oil, makeup and skin debris are what loosen extensions early, and unwashed lashes can lead to irritation along the lash line. Once a day, foam an oil-free lash cleanser over closed eyes with a soft brush, rinse with cool water and pat dry. Then brush them into place with a clean spoolie.

What to avoid

Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, moisturisers and serums near the eyes — oil breaks down lash adhesive.
Waterproof mascara and any mascara on volume fans (it clumps the fans and pulls on removal).
Lash curlers, rubbing your eyes, picking or pulling at extensions.
Sleeping face-down. Back-sleeping or a silk pillowcase keeps the fans from getting crushed.
Steam-heavy environments in the first 24 hours; after that, they are fine.

Makeup with extensions

You can wear eyeshadow and liner — just choose oil-free, non-waterproof formulas and remove them with a lash-safe micellar water or your lash foam, never a cotton pad dragged across the lash line. Most clients find they skip mascara altogether.

When to book your fill

Your natural lashes shed and regrow on a 6–8 week cycle, taking extensions with them. Book a fill every 2–3 weeks so Vivian can replace what has shed while the set still looks full. Wait longer than about 4 weeks and there is often too little left to fill, so the appointment becomes a new full set.

If something feels wrong
